Dr. Henry's clinical interests include caring for patients of all ages with complex health problems, utilizing point of care ultrasound, and specializing in wilderness and travel medicine. He has volunteered his medical expertise on trips to Ecuador, Haiti, and Togo. Outside of medicine, Dr. Henry enjoys spending time with his family, practicing Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and exploring the outdoors. He is an active member of College Park Church, as well as professional organizations such as the American College of Physicians, the American Academy of Pediatrics, and the Wilderness Medical Society.

Elizabeth Griffin MD

Dr. Griffin is a board-certified pediatrician who brings compassionate, relationship-centered care to every child and family she serves. Before joining Valiant, she cared for patients in Arlington, Virginia and Albuquerque, New Mexico, experiences that deepened her appreciation for the unique needs of families at every stage of childhood.

She chose to practice medicine in the direct care model because it allows children and families to truly know and be known by their pediatrician. Dr. Griffin wants families to think of her not just as their child’s doctor, but as a trusted partner in their family’s health—someone who is available, approachable, and invested in their wellbeing. She values the lasting relationships that grow from this model, offering parents direct access and personalized guidance without the barriers of traditional healthcare.

Her clinical interests include newborn and infant care as well as adolescent sports nutrition. She understands the joys and challenges of early parenthood, from feeding and sleep routines to navigating developmental milestones, and provides practical guidance and support for families during these formative years. As the mother of four children involved in competitive sports she also brings a real-world perspective to supporting young athletes and their families.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Griffin treasures time with her husband and four children and can usually be found cheering on her children at soccer and basketball games, or cooking meals to share with family and friends.
